Alexandria, LA – Currently Hiring Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Our APP collaborative was formed to provide development opportunities and to advance the role of our providers who work alongside our physician providers. We offer the same leadership development opportunities for APP’s that are provided to our physician providers.

The APP hospitalist role

  • 255 bed Catholic, faith-based, not-for-profit hospital, part of the Christus Health System
  • Established 12 physician team with 2 advanced practitioners and hospitalist RN
  • Intensivist run codes
  • Closed ICU with Intensivist program
  • 7 on/7 off; dedicated daytime APP
  • Access SoundInstitute™ learning platform for continuing education, and professional career development with convenient online and in-person educational courses, including CME
  • Perform such other responsibilities as reasonably assigned by the chief hospitalist and within NP/PA scope of practice
  • Current, unrestricted license in Louisiana. Will consider acute care NP or PA with recent inpatient experience.  Ideally looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years recent inpatient experience
